EDP HEADQUARTERS PORTO
The interior design of the EDP headquarters is a work in partnership with architect Sebastião Moreira, which includes an art gallery and about 1200 work areas, with their respective services. The project tries to bring the language of the building outside to the interior through aluminium profiles far apart and fixed on a mirrored surface that expands and dynamizes the space. In some places loosen profiles are like screens that separate the space. The work areas in open space are separated with furniture made with walnut wood, glass and corrugated aluminium which creates both privacy and a friendly atmosphere for employees. In the administration area, the cladding, the choice of loose furniture and implementation of new constructive solutions suggest a more cosy, noble and peaceful atmosphere.
