BAIXA BAR
2009
The Beaux-Arts style façade is enhanced in the first room, which greets us upon entering, and where each detail reveals the bohemian charm of past times: ornamented ceiling, bevelled and ornately framed mirrors and hydraulic mosaic floor take us to a revivalist atmosphere. In the middle of the building, an organically-shaped tunnel announces the transition to the second space, as an exercise of affirmation and rupture with the former. In this room the polish aluminium ceiling reflects the walls with their panelling in different types of wood that compose a danceable and contemporary scenery.
